Customs Clearance Procedures for a car
- Conditions for customs clearance of a car: It’s important to meet the condition of a mover or semi-mover ,
and the car should be registered in the name of the very person or his/her accompanying family member
3 months before moving on the basis of the earlier date between the final entry day and the shipping day for a car.
- For those who have foreign nationality(including a permanent resident), their moving cargos are treated in general import procedures other than moving cargos. DOOR TO INSIDE
- Sorts of Vehicles that can be acknowledged as a moving article: Sedan type, Jeep-type or a passenger car which can accommodate the maximum 9 persons including a driver as a station wagon, two-wheeled vehicle, and three-wheeled vehicle, etc.
- Documents for Customs Clearance of a Vehicle: Car Registration,
certificate of ownership to a car, certificate of insurance (reference material)
- General locals excluding a permanent resident and a citizenship holder
- are supposed to prepare the receipt of the domestic liability insurance
- (including a copy) because a temporary driver’s permit and temporary
- license plate are directly issued by the relevant customhouse.
